Project Description

Mr Price Group sought to introduce a microlearning unit focusing on unconscious bias to support their EE and D&I goals. Our proposal aimed to enhance existing modules and create a new, engaging unit addressing bias in hiring practices. We thoroughly assessed the business needs, learning outcomes, target audience, and context. Based on this analysis, we designed a visually appealing GUI and look and feel for media elements, ensuring alignment with Mr Price Group’s new visual identity. We then developed a storyboard and digitised a new module focusing on unconscious bias, keeping it concise (8-10 minutes) and including pre- and post-assessments.

Moment of Need

Our solution primarily addressed the “Learning more” and “Applying what’s been learned” moments of need. By updating existing modules and introducing a new unit on unconscious bias, we provided Mr Price Group’s hiring managers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively understand and address bias in the recruitment process. Additionally, our solution aimed to simplify content and enhance engagement, ensuring that key concepts are retained and applied consistently across the organisation.
