Online skills development in South Africa just got better!

We’re excited to announce a partnership with Ceed Learning, a company in South Africa that works closely with clients to accelerate the development of skills and drive performance.

Ceed recently celebrated their 6th year anniversary. According to their clients their success is due to carefully listening to their needs, working closely with them to get the best from the project and making sure that their solutions achieve the desired outcomes.

Bernadine Sprighton, the co-founder and CEO of Ceed explains who the team is and what they do as follows: “We like to think of ourselves as learning design artisans – selecting the very best ingredients, carefully mixing them together, hand-shaping them and arranging them perfectly. We are also enthusiastic users of digital learning tools. Our goal is to merge technology with learning in creative and effective ways”.

Given this, it’s not surprising that when Ceed decided to look for a technology partner they selected Degreed, the leading personalized skills development platform.

Degreed connects all the resources people use to learn and grow — including corporate learning systems, courses, videos, books, articles, podcasts, and subject experts. Data science is used to provide people and businesses with the tools, insights and feedback they need to continuously build and measure the skills they need. Founded in 2012, Degreed is headquartered in San Francisco, with additional offices in Salt Lake City, New York and Amsterdam.

Together, Degreed and Ceed are on a mission to provide better, smarter, faster ways to develop and measure skills so that our clients can better prepare themselves for the future.

Andrew Worsdell, Director Channel EMEA & APAC, explains that he is looking forward to working with Ceed to strengthen Degreed’s adoption in South Africa.
